What You Will Do as a Software Engineer (Associate)

As a Software Engineer in DataLabs, you will be responsible for the end-to-end development, testing, and delivery of our applications. Your responsibilities will include:
- Experience with developing well-designed, testable and efficient code in Java, Python or similar and web frameworks (Angular, Lit, etc.).
- Develop from backend, middle-layer, frontend services, to SQL/NoSQL databases, and AWS, even Big Data (Spark, Scala) or Machine Learning.
- Leveraging the latest engineering standards including pair programming, Test-Driven Development (TDD), Acceptance Test-Driven Development (ATDD), Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Delivery (CD) and refactoring.
- Staying on top of tech trends, playing around with new tools, learning new technologies.
- Working across departments promoting innovation, inclusivity and diversity.
- Time-estimation of tasks and deliver high quality solutions on time.
Qualifications
We’re looking for candidates with enthusiasm, technical experience and a growth mindset. Here’s what we’re seeking:
- Eligibility: Candidate should be B.E / B.Tech (Computer Science will be preferable.
- Technical Skills: Sturdy programming background in at least one language (Java or Python) and a strong desire to learn another(s).

In DataLabs, you will work on a variety of projects from developing scalable backend services, front-end applications, and machine learning models for predictive analytics. Responsibilities have included developing real-time credit risk models, enhancing customer-facing finance tools, and building data-based products using AWS, Java, Python and other state of the art No-SQL technologies like Spark etc.
2. What technology do I need?
You are an experienced software developer, with a strong hand in Java and Python.
